I’ll put this out there again since more Lizards are off work and such.

I’m trying to find an electric keyboard for my kids for Christmas and don’t know anything about how to choose a decent one. I don’t have a pile of money, so I’m looking for something that plays the different sounds, has a full keyboard, and doesn’t need a speaker. I’m just lost when I look at Amazon. Can anyone help?

I’ve been looking into one for myself, and went to a couple of websites where they have reviews. 88-key models are way too costly for me, but the smaller models are acceptable in price. Anyway, check out these:
61-keys — Yamaha PSR-e353, Yamaha YPT-255 (not sure if touch sensitive), Yamaha EZ220 (lighted keys)
76-keys — Yamaha YPG-235, Casio WK-245 (touch sensitive)
44-keys - Casio SA-76

My notes are from last year, so some models may no longer be sold new.
