Does she really, really need that sixty days of pay?

I get the feeling that Emmers didn’t have to be pushed too much to do what Drumpff wanted. Now she’s all boo hoo hoo.

As they say in the Russian Marines, Toughski Shitski.

It seems counter-intuitive to me, actually. If she’s wanting to preserve her political career, wouldn’t she be better served by breaking ranks with Trump and enabling the Biden administration, thus giving them an ally they may be willing to work with (and employ elsewhere), as opposed to hitching her wagon to the President* and going down in flames with him, leaving her completely unemployable in the future? I mean, the risk-reward just seems to indicate that she’d be better off defecting, but I guess I’m not a career wheeler-dealer.
