I don’t think it’s a semantic point. Sure, this ongoing rhetoric, and more importantly, Iran’s financial supply to Hezbollah/Hamas/Whoknows has an ongoing impact.

But the question of whether Iran’s leadership is prepared to reduce Iran to a Chihuly art piece while taking out Israel is a serious and very complicated one. I tend to say “No,” while a little voice in the back of my head says, “I hope to God you’re right,” and another that sounds sort of like Netanyahu says “Aren’t you glad you don’t have to place that bet?”
