That explains the “Merry Christmas, we’re freezing your debit card” call I got from BofA two days ago. I told them it was a bad week to be without a card, next Wednesday being Xmas and all. Ended up getting a temp card at the branch.

Still have to spend January re-connecting my auto-pay bills to the new card when I get it.
