I read that. All I can say is: how sad that we have to legislate what really should just be decency and courtesy. And this is to cover ‘religion.’ Maybe that is a simplistic view, but damn sometimes humans just fuck shit all up.

To me, even basic religion should teach it just plain won’t hurt you to serve a person that doesn’t buy all aspects of your religion. Remember…your religion. What gay is asking you to be gay so that it would be against your religion? Baking a cake isn’t going to make you gay or harm your religious stance. Baking a cake is not a sin. It simply comes down to being judgmental and vindictive with the judgement. What really is the harm other than perception by dogma or just plain hate? Can’t people just be human and keep the religion to themselves? You can be what you want to be after you flip that closed sign on your bakery that evening. The gays will go home and keep to themselves, you can too.
