I think having the tilt/turn LCD screen on the back is indispensable. Great for low angle, dealing with glare, etc. You don’t realize how good it is until you have an opportunity to shoot with it. And with my Canon, it’s good to have the tilt/turn so you can actually protect the back too.

A tilting LCD screen is great for candid photography. You can get shots of people looking natural. Once they see someone pointing a camera at them, they freeze or act self-conscious.
