This is one of the few things that actually leaves me feeling encouraged.

These people are so very corrupt, and so very overconfident. They genuinely believe they’ve got their Thousand Year Reich, and no one will ever be able to stop them. They’re not trying to hide anything — and they don’t have the brainpower to hide anything if they could. They’re not even considering the possibility of failure. And they don’t have even the shallow competency that the Nazis had.

I think when they fail, it’ll be fucking spectacular. I think a lot of them will end up in prison, a lot of them will end up dead, and a few of them will manage to escape to huddle around Putin for protection.

Not that they won’t manage to fuck things up really, really badly first…
