You would think that after the disaster of Robert McNamara (who was one of the “best and the brightest”) as Secretary of Defense, we would have learned that businessmen/women should serve only as Secretary of Commerce or the SBA.

For my sins, I had both McNamara and Rumsfeld as SECDEF.
