Have you seen a picture of the “lifeboat”? It is more like a life capsule. Fully enclosed with storm proof hatches. Looks like it is made of heavy duty PVC or fiberglass composite. Can’t see anyone who’s inside it - much less shoot at them.

Then how did the captian mange to jump into the water?
