Yeah, Rwanda is probably one of the best examples in recent times, since it didn’t actually depend on centuries of propaganda the way the anti-Jewish rhetoric in Europe did.

The Tutsi and the Hutu, on the other hand, are basically the same culture, and the propaganda was clearly one of the driving factors in the genocide.
