Having a big sad this morning. Rest In Peace Shirley Temple Black. She was contemporary to my long departed Mom, and was far and away her favorite actress/personality out there. If you are about my age, you probably drank a “Shirley Temple” when out with the adults at a nice restaurant as a kid.

This still happens. My daughter (now 17) used to order them all the time.
