In a couple days, that snow storm is expected to spread across my area, but in the form of freezing rain (oh joy).

Right now all our area streets and roads are quagmires and the rest of the snow on the ground is going to make that worse when it melts. Then we get freezing rain to shellac it all, and maybe lose our power or Internet service.

Losing power isn’t so bad. Build a fire and cuddle.
Losing Internet? DEAR GOD!
