Regarding the pro-Kavanaugh forces and the Republican response to the facts as we know them:

Seems to me they are just deciding, at random, how much shit they can throw at at the wall and see what sticks, eh? The bottom line for them is that the people who oppose Kavanaugh are just liars. That’s all they’ve got.

He’s a disastrous nominee, but they keep supporting him. He was a drunk as a high-schooler and a drunk as a college student. There is no indication he has ever addressed the problem. He’s still a drunk. Do we need a drunk as a member of the SCOTUS?

Is there anyone in the US who says “Yes! That’s exactly what we need!”

Sadly, yes, because there is a huge cohort of idiots who think that’s exactly what we need, because they believe that this President is the Pied Piper who will lead us to a better future.
