Snopes equivocates on whether Trump was bragging by putting the interview by the journalists in context.

They interviewed him right after the attack on Manhattan but before anyone knew who did it. They feel it’s reasonable when the tallest buildings in Manhattan were attacked, if another attack on Manhattan occurred they might come after the second-tallest.
