I might have phrased it better, but what I was asking is if the ideas that Alinsky wrote about have their roots in older ideas that go back for centuries, then how can Filala’s “point” that he’s a barometer of how the current left thinks apply. If his ideas are that universal, then using him as a way to stereotype a particular political side makes no sense.
