My SiL went to her folks for a long weekend so she could watch her old classmates graduate. Her entire family and 1/2 a dozen friends want to come out here in a few weeks when she graduates and they’re having a hard time getting their heads around the fact that she only has 7 tickets to give away to attend the ceremony. There were only 30 kids graduating at her old school (maybe 300 people total in the town) and there are roughly 900 kids in her new graduating class. I’ve tried to explain the math to them but they aren’t getting it.
