Trump missed a chance to make this a rally-around the President thing, which I can only assume are reasons of complete incompetence and imperviousness to expert advice, and now he has to convince us to sacrifice lives to prop up the Economy.

You have to be capable of that in your character. I mean Bush was awful but I know why he was able to rally the nation after 9/11 because he didn’t turn everything into his personal grievances. I can’t imagine him bashing then Governor Warner after the Pentagon was hit or during the sniper attacks here. Trump benefited immensely from the empty slate of sexism that his entire candidacy benefited from the start.
