The biggest issue with the “movement” is that their figurehead is a frail, old man whose demise will leave them with no appointed successor. What’s worse is that, in trying to prop up his ego-driven vanity project of a campaign, his surrogates promoted the worst impulses of his fans to attack and destroy those who might have been willing to take up the torch upon his retirement/demise. But no, they’ll have nothing to do with this “movement,” so when he finally shuffles off his mortal coil, they’ll be left searching for a new “messiah.”

I’m sick of Messiah politics and I’m convinced that parts of the left did that to Obama who to be fair unlike Sanders, Trump, & Ron Paul never encouraged it and was always clear that his election was supposed to be one part. Bernie potentially could be elected. I actually disagree with some lizards on this but I’m also convinced Sanders would be a bad President for similar though not all identical reasons as Trump.
