re: #160 Florida Panhandler

If SCOTUS is now so broken that it cannot be fixed, it must be abolished. This means a new Constitution. A new Constitution opens up opportunity for the loonies and wackos to insert any and all grievances and fantastically rancid fever dreams into the very fabric of the nation. Either this, or just break up the country into a Balkanized confederacy with underground railroads, massive interstate black markets, interstate conflict over water and mineral rights, and even outright military conflict.

The only other option is to keep what we have and learn to deal with an entirely political SCOTUS that, depending on who is in control of the government, can swing wildly every 4 years or so with more and more court stacking until 20-30 years from now when all the old voters currently watching Fox News right now are dead. Either way, we’re fucked.

No need for a new constitution. Just expand it to 13 seats. Can be done with 51 willing votes.
