Until which time replacement of full EV batteries doesn’t cost 1/2 - 3/4 of the entire vehicle, I’d only consider a hybrid. Plus, the hybrid gives you more emergency options (like being in traffic after a bad accident and sitting for the hours not going anywhere in 110 heat… Do I save the energy to get home, dehydrated if not dead [which sorts makes the point moot, but I digress], or do I use the AC and not get home?)

Hybrids are awesome.
