So after 3+ months in and out of the shop under full warranty, Best Buy tells us it will cost a hundred bucks to load windows 10. Windows 10 was on it before it crashed. Yeah. No. So very very pissed.

That’s bullshit…if you used a Microsoft online account to sign into Windows 10 on that machine as the initial/main account on that computer, that computer is tied to your Microsoft account, so you can reset the existing install or even do a clean install of Win10 yourself for nothing (except for your time, but, even so, it doesn’t really take that long these days).
