Ooops, typo, I meant an “unwinnable war” just like you. I don’t blame Obama for inheriting the war, I blame him for sending more men to die needlessly.

Well, I think we’re in agreement there. Frankly, this is not a winnable war since in fact it’s not really a traditional war with standing and uniformed armies. This will continue for a very long time and it could mean military operations for the next 100 years or more. It’s up to Afghanistan and the people. Right now many of the Afghani people in the countryside are supporting the Taliban including providing them with cover and food during their operations.
