You know what amazes me? Not that Trump and the GOP can act like such a bunch of utter fuckfaces. It’s that so many Americans vote for them. In huge numbers, year after year, allowing them to undermine and corrupt the basic democratic structures that make your country work. And they weren’t even subtle about it.

This shouldn’t be some 51%-49% just-squeaked-by thing. Republicans should be getting trounced 80%-20% or so (after all, there will always be some assholes out there). I’m no fan of the Democrats, but this shouldn’t be close. I utterly do not understand it.
