I’m sick and tired of stupid fucking morons blaming the ACA for premiums rising. Look mother fuckers, I’ve had health insurance for the last 25 FUCKING YEARS. Premiums have been rising every year and sometimes by double fucking digits. I knew in the god dammed 90s that this shit was unsustainable. One more thing, I don’t give a fuck about your bullshit stories about how fucking sweet your insurance was until the ACA. Either you’re a god damned liar or too fucking stupid to know your “insurance” was garbage. Now fuck off!!!

Righteous Rant!!!

I think one reason the Republicans sort of got away with using the premiums rising under Obamacare as a scare tactic was most Americans get insurance through employers and never really looked at the costs. I guess they never understood why their co-pays and deductibles kept going up and up and their coverage (they never looked at) kept getting less and less.

But Obama, the scary man came and suddenly they paid attention to the details and now it was a problem. It left an imprint that insurance bad because Obama, when it was a mess before.
