Not trying to say VB didn’t have a legit gripe but the headline vs what’s actually in the piece are different. TBH if I were writing such a piece, I may well use something like No Irish Need Apply or something like that. Stephens is a RW dingus but he’s correct that the antisemitism of the early 20th century directed at Jewish immigrants is no different than the groups Trump goes after today.
