Summary: In 2005 CBS reporter Mary Mapes and Anchor Dan Rather were involved in a scandal over memos purportedly written by George W. Bush’s commander in the Texas Air National Guard, Pat Killian.

As soon as the story broke, many blogs and news organizations began to question to the authenticity of the memos. LGF played a large role in the eventual fall of Dan Rather and Mary Mapes.

The site has shifted politics considerably since then, so I’m not sure how many Lizards are still around from that time period.
