Presidents are not field generals. In fact, one President, Truman, fired his commander in the field. I wonder what Jindal thinks of Truman?

Both Patton and Eisenhower served under a CinC who was high-brow, elite educated, of old money, and an intellect - FDR. And then they served under Truman who was more working class but even more at conflict with his military men.

The bottom line is that Jindal is a non-stop pander machine who spouts words like they are magical, because in his belief system words are indeed magical (e.g., in exorcisms.)
