Sounds like the UK in the lead up to Brexit.

I’m glad Parliament is going to have to vote on Brexit. It could fail, because now they are going to have to take a vote with real world consequences, just as the Republicans are wavering now that a vote to repeal Obamacare will have real world consequences vooters will hold them accountable for.
