There are plenty of college-educated white men who supported Trump: Some who hated Hillary and are not full members of the Trump cult, others who worship the NRA or Netanyahu; but there are plenty of true cult members even among the educated. They love seeing a businessman in charge of the country and believe he has more insight than academics. Think of Rodney Dangerfield in Back to School — where the successful businessman lies and cheats his way through classes but also demonstrates to fellow students that he understands the real and corrupt world of business, unlike the professors who are guided by theory.
