Well whatever you think of Manchin a conservative Democrat is still a lot less conservative than the kind of Republican W.V. would elect in Manchin’s place. And like it or not, any chance of the Democrats regaining control of the Senate heavily depends on Manchin getting re-elected, though those chances are dimming with Heitkamp facing an uphill battle.

You’re absolutely correct on this. And again I hope and believe they will be kicked out. If we need faux Republicans to gain the Senate, fuck them. We need to build on our own merits. Those red states can rot in hell for all I care at this point. The South can secede now. I have no issue. I’m in Texas and I’ll move.
