A fictionalized character in Hollywood Wives , the trash novel by Jackie Collins, was based on Merv. I would LOVE to know the real stuff. Deep gossip has a lot to say about Merv.

Deep gossip also points out that Seacrest is the new Merv. And not just because his broadcast empire is so much like Merv’s. *wink*
