This is to rebut the growing and stupid memes coming out of the wingnuts after seeing a very disturbing article about how Jews are stupid and perhaps aligned with socialists for not voting teabag.

I’ve become sort of a Reform groupie in the last few months, going to temple because it’s the only tradition that speaks to me, and it’s a nice, if older congregation. I really, really like the fact that the people to whom the OT actually belongs seem to understand its messages and wisdom substantially in terms of metaphor, through the lens of history, in accordance with scientific discovery, and actual rational thought.
