There are an awful lot of fucking morons and trolls all over the internet making that exact argument.

Look at the comments at ThinkProgress and other sites — you’ll see some white idiot trying to equate the New Black Panthers or Al Sharpton as some sort of analogous figures to the Nazis and playing some ridiculous MBF attempt where the Nazis are just the white versions of Sharpton or the NBP.

It’s hard to believe that there are people who are that fucking stupid in this country, then I remember that Faux News and the RWNJ howler monkeys on talk radio and in the blogosphere have trained an entire segment of the United States to think that way.
