Wasn’t the issue here that the biographer woman he was cheating with began trying to access secure info on his computer,including his CIA emails? Had that not happened,along with her threatening another woman at CIA,none of this would have mattered I don’t think. I’m not a fan of adultery on any level,it’s stupid at best,but if the man was doing his job,an affair isn’t going to take him down. But security breaches or attempts at it might,and should. She was after something,probably a story she could sell.

At least that’s my take on this mess.
