Which is particularly laughable since the economy is doing quite well, and a stimulus of this sort might increase inflation and costs. GOP refused to do so at a time when stimulus would have had greatest effect. Instead, GOP demanded austerity, delaying recovery.

This was deliberate, of course. The GOP wanted the economy to be as bad as possible under Obama.
