I had a Larue, a lager with a nice sharp hoppy bite, but not overly bitter. The beer (bia) in Vietnam is quite good!

That does sound good. The ginger chicken looks wok fried with w light sauce. More spicey or simple soy marinade/sauce? Much garlic?
