I laughed when I heard Rudy make that comment about expenditures because I imagined every partner at his firm watching that and then sending a group text saying “what the fuck is that crazy old man saying?” No lawyer worth their salt enters into a settlement agreement for a client without clearing it with the client first. And no lawyer advances settlement payments for a client. That’s not how it works.
