If you’re in the Rockies hoping for snow you’ll get your wish.

But here we need rain. The past few years have been very dry.

Here in west-central Illinois, we have been dry for several years. We had a low spot on our farm where the water table was always just below the surface, and a track hoe just dug a big, big hole to bury our old house and a big tree stump. Going down 20 feet, it was dry. I’m scared we are heading toward a dust bowl here.
