Taxes were referenced earlier. I used Intuit before because my wife worked in an ambiguous way for a Japanese online company and it seemed like we had to use the Business version to make sure we weren’t penalized in any way. But now our taxes are far simpler. She works for an American elder care company. I do what I do and it’s not lucrative nor complicated. I’d prefer not to pay Intuit just to autofill from last year. Is there a preferred and easy and—-most importantly free or near-free—online source for those of us who have relatively simple tax forms? I know how dumb I sound, but is this a service IRS provides? We don’t own property and we don’t have any capital gains or loses…..
