They believe the myth, and haven’t spent any time investigating the truth.

They’re no different than the white supremacists who insist they come from “pure” bloodlines of white guys dating all the way back to Europe, who then get DNA tests that determine they have the same percentage of “African” DNA as every other white guy does.
