Tons of lesbian bumper stickers on her old VW bus which used to leak oil all over the street. It took a lot of calling around to find a gay friendly church that was willing to give her help. I didn’t want to call a church to help her that would end up pestering her about her sexuality. This is Portland and thankfully it wasn’t too troublesome to find.

A church van used to show up to her place every fall and unload about a half dozen 6 foot tall pot plants. I won’t mention which denomination but I was pretty impressed.
