I gotta say, this whole “pox on both houses” bit, which is dove-tailing with “Obama needs to lead!,” is getting rather tiresome. Because every time I ask the supposed “centrists” who blather away about such what they’d like done, they tell me that they want both sides to come together and come up with a compromise plan that accommodates both sides. Yet they refuse to acknowledge that the Democrats have been preaching a balanced course for months now, that Obama ran on such during his reelection bid, and there is a Senate bill to that effect that the GOP just filibustered.

Cognitive dissonance is one thing, willful ignorance is entirely another. Neither of which I find appealing or intellectually honest.
