I started with Firefox. Gave that up for Chrome. Gave that up for Opera and PaleMoon. Some sites fail to load properly with PM, but work fine with Opera.

Is it so impossible to create a browser that opens all sites properly AND doesn’t gobble up RAM like no tomorrow?

Meanwhile, to do online banking with my Chinese bank I MUST use IE. Other browsers, including Edge, just don’t work right.

Do you have the Adobe Flash stuff turned off? That’s a resource pig. And even then with my old laptop I do have memory issues trying to run Chrome or Firefox. And I have not found a browser yet either that doesn’t gobble up at least half of my memory upon starting it up.

And given that iTunes is also a resource hog I have found that I can’t run both it and a browser at the same time without the sound stuttering or the browser taking a massive amount of time to load a page.
