He could have rebuilt the liberal wing of the Democratic Party going into a Clinton presidency if he had encouraged his supporters to go out, work on the Clinton campaign, get her elected, and stay involved in the Party afterwards.

Yeah that’s what frustrates me too. The thing that really upset me though is by creating a sort of cult of personality around himself is that he’s created this narrative that anyone who didn’t support him in the primaries to the fullest is an enemy. IT’s how great progressives like Dolores Huerta, John Lewis, Barney Frank, Elizabeth Warren, and others became the enemy of the bros because of how Bernie made himself the lone ranger as I said. He pays good lip service to the teamwork aspect of politics, too bad for him he never actually practices it.
