Once upon a time, not long ago (though it feels like ages), I would go to bed and wake up in the morning with my house in the same condition I left it the night before. That was BC (Before Cats).

This morning I walked into the living room to see curtains down, the trash basket overturned, dish towels on the floor and one on the sofa, and a chicken bone on the bathroom counter. These guys:

Someone had a party. Were there empty bottles, cigarette butts and roaches in the ash trays…kitty’s wearing lampshades?
