They’ve got nothing else really. All they can do is attack Rep. Wilson for an allegedly private call. If they really had something about her conduct, they would use that.

Initially they attacked Wilson because she’s the one who brought the call to the public’s attention. Now they attack her because most have at least enough functioning neurons in their heads to realize how dumb it is to attack a war widow. But there are those like Walsh who will throw caution to the wind and argue that the widow made herself a target for daring to speak out.
