Ugh. I listened to the first 1-2 minutes, up to the “spoon-fed by liberals” BS.

As an amateur genealogist, it irks me when I hear people state their ancestry as some kind of pedigree, “I’m part German, Swiss, and French, and my ggf was Cherokee,” as if those national distinctions were immutable in time. Setting aside the Cherokee (or whatever her Native American heritage is), the borders of the European nations were in constant flux for more than a thousand years. Alsace-Lorraine is but one example. So, to say “I’m part French” really means your last known ancestor came to America from France. That ancestor’s own grandparents might have been Bavarian, or Czech.

Incidentally, many white people in America are strangely not ashamed of claiming Native American heritage (even when they have none), but are more circumspect in admitting African heritage. See which, Melungeons.
