Affordable rural broadband is a real problem (as I have noted). In my village board meeting tonight, it was announced that a couple contracting companies that provide other services have dropped us, because we are too isolated and they can’t make money.
No corporation is going to extend broadband services here. It figures the press would spin Hillary Clinton’s (and my) concerns about this into “elitism” and “she can’t connect with rural voters.” Gaaa.
