Who thinks Kavanaugh survives until next Friday? Anybody?

As a candidate, he’s dead meat. The FBI review will include financials which the non-existent best vetting ever did not include before his nomination.

Who paid for his $95,000 country club entry fee? Who paid off the $200,000 in Baseball Ticket debt (read: gambling debts) which magically disappeared from his credit cards?

Man, I wish I could have 300 large suddenly dumped into my lap just before I was nommed to the SCOTUS!

That would be outstanding! Not like it meant I owed anything to anybody. It’s good to have friends with deep pockets.

But it seems a little hinckie, doesn’t it? Maybe something at which the FBI should take a look?

(The lengths I go to avoid a dangling participle are legion.)

I’m not convinced that this particular investigation will find anything openly illegal…and it will take at least that to hurt this nomination. But we’ll see.
