I don’t think so, They’re one of the largest corporate donors to Center for American Progress who runs sites like Think Progress and Media Matters. I wonder what they think they’re going to get in return for their contributions. It doesn’t seem to be working out well for them.

While the 44-year-old Sam is helping to re-elect the president, his relatives have been trying to kick Obama out of the White House. Jim Walton (Sam’s uncle) has donated $300,000 combined to Restore Our Future, a PAC that backs Mitt Romney, and Our Destiny, which supported former Republican candidate Jon Huntsman. Alice and Christy Walton (Sam’s aunts) gave $200,000 to Restore Our Future and $50,000 to Our Destiny, respectively.
